LONG TERM CARE (LTC) COURSES
Do you want to sell long term care insurance in Indiana and are in need of the state's approved courses to sell long term care insurance in Indiana?
On a regular basis, the association offers the required 8-hour and 5-hour LTC courses as well as the required 7-hour long term care partnership course. (Please note: the 8-hr course may be taken to fulfill Indiana's requirement for the 5-hour recertification course)

8-Hour LTC Certification Course
Satisfies the initial requirement of 8 hours of LTC Continuing Education.
5-Hour LTC Re-Certification Course
In order to sell the Certified Indiana Long Term Care Program, you must complete 15 hours of LTC continuing education. 5 hours of LTC continuing education needs to be completed during your license renewal period in order to continue selling LTC products.
7-Hour LTCP Certification Course
In order to sell the Certified Indiana Long Term Care Program, you must complete 15 hours of LTC continuing education. 7 hours of your 15 hour requirement must be in the certified program.
This is the product that will allow senior citizens to plan to meet their LTC needs while protecting their assets from Medicaid spend down requirements.
Long Term Certification
Since July 1, 1993, all agents who sell, market, solicit, or otherwise contact any person for the purpose of marketing long term care insurance must fulfill an 8-hour continuing education requirement re-certified every two years with a 5-hour re-certification course.
In order to sell the Certified Indiana Long Term Care Program, you must complete 15 hours of LTC continuing education. Seven hours of your 15 hour requirement must be in the certified partnership program. This is the product that will allow senior citizens to plan to meet their LTC needs while protecting their assets from Medicaid spend down requirements.
